MARIE ZOBERSKI SCHOLARSHIP

 Each year we offer the Friends of the Boyne River Marie Zoberski Scholarship to applicants who live in the watershed of the Boyne River or in Charlevoix County and are planning a career compatible with the purposes of the Friends of the Boyne River. Careers in marine biology, conservation, watershed management, water quality, fisheries and wildlife, horticulture, etc., would qualify.  The scholarship is for $1,000 for one year, divided into amounts of $500 per semester.  The award is limited to reimbursement for tuition, textbooks, equipment, fees and materials.  The money is paid each semester to the recipient when copies of receipts for expenses totaling $500 are sent to: The Friends of the Boyne River, Scholarship Reimbursement, % Dick Cunningham, 622 W. Michigan Ave., Boyne City, MI, 49712.
